Dow Electric is looking for a skilled Electrician with a carpentry background to join our growing team. We are a diverse company located in Malone, NY with team members and projects located throughout NY State. We offer a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, retirement and more. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an electrician and at least 1 year working as a carpenter. Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather.
Responsibilities:
- 2+ years of Electrical experience
- Strong background in Electrical and construction experience
- Ability to operate a computer and cellular phone
- Organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Superior time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Reading blueprints and drawings to understand the layout
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to endure a fast paced environment for a minimum of 8 hours
- Must be able to lift over 25 pounds
- Ability to receive direction and requests via phone and email
Travel is necessary, and qualified candidates will possess a valid drivers license and will possess, or be willing to obtain, a minimum of an OSHA 10 certification.
